Peter Ross
Director
Peter is a registered Chartered Accountant CA(SA) and a B-BBEE expert. He is highly regarded within the business community and is known for high-level strategy formulation, B-BBEE consulting, and transformation planning and implementation.
As an experienced Chartered Accountant, Peter has the ability and knowledge needed to communicate effectively with business owners, directors, and managers at every level, and to discuss how important and beneficial B-BBEE compliance and transformation is to their business.
Peter is passionate about guiding South African non-profits to align their services with B-BBEE benefits. This strategic advice helps these crucial organisations secure funding, achieve long-term sustainability, and continue making a social impact.

Derryn Brigg
Small Business Specialist
Derryn is an independent strategic partner to entrepreneurs, executives and boards, providing clear, commercially grounded insight that challenges thinking, sharpens direction, and strengthens business models.
With more than 20 years of experience across consulting, entrepreneurship and governance, she helps leaders cut through complexity, reduce uncertainty and make confident strategic decisions. Her work spans early-stage ventures to established enterprises, NPOs and international investors across all industry sectors. Services include business model coherence and stress testing, strategic growth and expansion planning, business setups, mentoring, NPO sustainability plans, and workshop facilitation.

Lee-Ann Viola
B-BBEE Advisor
Lee-Ann has been working as a B-BBEE advisor since 2011. She directed her own consulting firm and ran her own non-profit organisation before joining ActivPro. Lee-Ann has a passion for B-BBEE transformation, specifically with regards to Skills Development, Enterprise and Socio-Economic Development initiatives across all industry sectors.
Lee-Ann served as a committee member of the Cape Coast Chapter of the Cape Chamber of Commerce, and was appointed as Vice Chairperson from 2021 to 2022.
Eden Viola
B-BBEE Advisor
Eden joined ActivPro in January 2021 as an Administrator, progressing into the role of B-BBEE Advisor. Over the years, she has developed strong expertise in B-BBEE consulting, verification preparation, client support, and compliance processes.
Eden also completed a BCom in Industrial Psychology in 2025 through UNISA, further strengthening her understanding of organisational behaviour and workplace dynamics.
Maruzaya Behardien
BEE Administrator
Maruzaya started her career in B-BBEE in 2009 as an Administrator with one of the SANAS Accredited B-BBEE Rating Agencies. She soon became the Admin Manager, leading a team of six administrators while also supporting more than 20 BEE Analysts. She remained with the Agency for over a decade.
Further roles included serving as the Western Cape Analyst at another Rating Agency and acting as the BEE Administrator for a corporate company.
Maruzaya joined ActivPro during 2025 as a BEE Administrator.
