Peter is a registered Chartered Accountant CA(SA) and B-BBEE expert. He is highly regarded within the business community and is known for high level strategy formulation and BBBEE consulting, transformation planning and implementation.
He is skilled in building relationships with companies and communicating with them how they can optimise their BEE compliance in a meaningful way. As an experienced Chartered Accountant Peter has the ability and knowledge needed to communicate effectively with business owners, directors and managers at all levels and discuss how important and beneficial BEE compliance and transformation is to their business.
Peter is also passionate about helping non-profit organisations as they play such an important role in the fabric of South Africa society. Guiding and advising them to align their service offerings to access BEE benefits contributes to them becoming more sustainable and maintain their ability to truly make a difference in the future.
He has held positions at various institutions including:
- Board Member and Honorary Treasurer of the Cape Chamber of Commerce & Industry
- Board member of the Association of BEE Professionals (ABP)
- One of the founding members of the National Association of BEE Consultants (NABC)
Derryn studied Industrial Psychology and has been working with ActivPro for over 10 years as a Small Business Specialist.
Her expertise are in the following areas: Business Plans, Marketing Plans, Feasibility studies, Strategy Formulation, Business set up, Mentoring, Coaching, NPO Sustainability Plans, and Workshop Facilitation.
She has served on the Cape Coast Committee since 2016, the Cape Chamber Council since 2017, the Board since 2019 and is the current Deputy President of the Cape Chamber of Commerce & Industry .
She has serviced hundreds of small businesses over the years across all industries (petrochemical, engineering, ITC, hospitality, tourism, health & beauty, finance, food & beverage, medical, retail, waste recycling, legal, media publications, construction, cleaning, events management, advertising, music, wine industry etc.) and many of her clients have won entrepreneurial awards and competitions with her business plans.
She is highly passionate about helping people to start or expand their businesses.
Lee-Ann has been working as a consultant in the B-BBEE field for ten years and has a passion for B-BBEE transformation specifically with regards to Skills Development and Socio-Economic Development initiatives.
Lee-Ann was appointed as the Vice Chair of the Cape Coastal Chapter in 2021.
She has directed her own consulting firm and currently runs her own non-profit organisation. She has created her own projects to fund various rural outreach programmes such as the creation of “The Hope Bag” for victims of Domestic violence.
She is also a licensee at The Paragon Generation, marketing Edutech Master Learning Programmes to children and adults, which enhances thinking, listening, reading and memory skills.
Her experience together with her various affiliations has enabled her to encourage companies to embrace the core meaning of transformation, through matching Skills Development candidates and Enterprise/Supplier Development beneficiaries with entities that are sincerely invested in their growth and longevity.
Eden recently joined the ActivPro Team & has since taken on the role of Social Media Manager, Bookkeeper & Administrator.
She is currently in her second year of her studies at UNISA, where she is completing her degree in Industrial & Organisational Psychology.
